Privacy
Effective October 19, 2026. Our policies have been in place since the day SoleSprout launched.
The short version: We collect your email and, if you choose, your kid's shoe size. Nothing else from you. No accounts, no cookies, no ad trackers, no analytics on the site.
What we collect
If you sign up: your email address and, if you pick one, your kid's shoe size. That's all. We never ask for a child's name, age, birthday or photo.
What we don't collect
We don't use cookies, analytics, ad pixels or tracking scripts, and nobody collects information about what you do on other sites through SoleSprout. Two things happen behind the scenes, as on any website: our host keeps standard server logs, and our email service records whether you open the weekly email or click a link in it. Both are listed below.
How we use it
To send our weekly email and to decide which sizes to watch. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for ads.
Who else sees what
- Our email service, Kit, stores the list and sends the email. The signup form sends your email and size straight to Kit, and Kit's own page opens to say so. Like most email services, Kit records whether you open the email and which links you click; we use that only to see what's useful. Kit's privacy policy applies to Kit's pages and to what Kit does with it.
- Our host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to run the site.
- Stores' image servers: product photos load from each store's own website or the image servers that store uses (for example, Shopify's), so that store, or the company that runs its image servers, sees a request from your browser, like any web page would.
- Stores you click through to: their privacy policies apply once you're on their site.
Children
SoleSprout is for parents and other adults. The shoe size you give us is about your kid, but it comes from you, and we never tie it to a child's name. We don't knowingly collect information from any children. If you think a child signed up, email us and we'll delete it.
Your choices
Every email has an unsubscribe link. To see or delete what we have about you, email hello@solesprout.co and we'll take care of it promptly.
Do Not Track
We don't track you across sites, so there's nothing to turn off. Browser "Do Not Track" signals don't change anything here.
How long we keep it
We keep your email while you're subscribed. When you unsubscribe, Kit keeps your address marked “don't email,” so we know not to email you. If you'd rather it were deleted entirely, email us and we will.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and, for anything significant, tell subscribers by email.
