Terms of use
Effective October 19, 2026. Our policies have been in place since the day SoleSprout launched.
The short version:
- SoleSprout checks prices and links you to stores. We don't sell anything.
- When you buy, you're buying from the store, which handles payment, shipping, returns and customer service.
- Prices, sizes, codes and shipping can change at any moment, and we can make mistakes, so always confirm on the store's site before you buy.
- If you sign up for the weekly email, you agree to these terms. If you only browse, this page still tells you what SoleSprout is, and what we are and aren't responsible for.
We're not the store
SoleSprout is an independent price-checking site. We don't sell, ship, stock or take back anything, and we're not a party to any purchase you make. Every order is between you and the store. Its prices, shipping, taxes, returns, warranties and customer service are its responsibility, under its own terms. If something goes wrong with an order, contact the store.
Prices and details can change
Prices, sizes, stock, promo codes, shipping policies and our all-in estimates come from our daily checks, and they can be out of date by the time you see them. Stores can change or end a sale or a code at any time, and some show different shoppers different prices. We work hard to be accurate, but we don't guarantee that anything on SoleSprout is accurate, complete or current. What the store shows you at checkout is the final word.
Our calls are opinions
BUY, HOLD and WAIT, and the Everyday price marker, are our opinion, based on the prices we've recorded. A call isn't a promise that the price won't drop further, that a deal is the lowest anywhere, that a shoe will fit, or that it's right for your kid. What you buy is your call. Tags like “Lowest in…” and “Same price…” describe the prices we recorded, not every price the shoe has ever had.
Links, photos and brand names
- Links take you to other companies' websites, which we don't control. Their content, products and privacy practices are their own.
- Product photos load from each store's own website or the image servers that store uses, and belong to that store or the brand. We don't copy, store or change them, and we take a store's photos down if it asks.
- Brand and product names belong to their owners and are used only to identify products.
- SoleSprout isn't affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any store or brand. Store and brand names say where a pair is sold.
- If you own something shown here and want it removed, email hello@solesprout.co and we'll take it down promptly.
No warranties
SoleSprout is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, SoleSprout and the people behind it aren't liable for any loss or damage that comes from:
- using the site or the email
- any purchase you make from a store, including pricing or stock errors, expired or changed codes, shipping delays or costs, taxes, product quality or fit, returns
- anything a store does or doesn't do
We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Because SoleSprout is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to one hundred US dollars. None of this limits liability for fraud, willful harm or gross negligence, or for anything else the law says can't be limited. Where the law doesn't allow one of these limits, it applies only as far as the law permits, and the rest of these terms still stand.
Using SoleSprout
Use SoleSprout for your own shopping. Don't overload the site or use it for anything unlawful. Want to republish our calls or price history? Email us first. You must be an adult (the age of majority where you live) to join our email list. We can change, pause or stop the site or the email at any time, and we can take an address off the list.
The email
When you sign up, you'll get our weekly email. Every email has an unsubscribe link. How we handle your email address is in our Privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll tell subscribers by email. If you stay on the list after that email, the new terms apply to you. The current version is always on this page.
If part of this can't be enforced
If a court won't enforce part of these terms, the rest still applies. These terms, with our Privacy policy and Disclosure page, are the whole agreement between you and SoleSprout. If we ever set up a company to run SoleSprout, these terms carry over to it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any court case about SoleSprout or these terms must be brought in California, and you agree to its courts' jurisdiction. Small claims court where you live stays open to you.
